Hello Friends,

This announcement is something that has long been in waiting. Over the last few months many of you would have already got a wind of it.

Corrson will no longer be in the product distribution business. We intend to restrict our focus on hi-end finished products, keeping the target market very small in size.

Our apologies to the DIY community that has supported us through the last few years. But the rising prices of the drivers and low volume of sales puts us in a spot.

We still have LOT of VIFA/Peerless drivers in stock with us. We will be offering these drivers at 20% discount.

We have obligations to a few manufacturers, which we will ensure are taken care properly.

Thanks again for all your support in the past few years. We will continue to be in business, but in a slightly different avatar.

Hi Siva,

Sorry that the DIY community in India wasn't big enough to keep you going.

However, do keep designing audio products. We need more indigenous designers to convince buyers that good products can be made here. High end does not mean high prices, just emphasis on good sound. We need to make good products at prices Indians can afford!

When we originally started our business, we wanted to provide value-for-money product to folks who could not afford audiophile products. But this strategy did fire back on us. This segment of market was always behind the security of a well known international brand...and i do not think we can blame them.

Many of our customers are those who had already spent a fortune and looking at improving the sound, without really being greatly worried about the "value-for-money" factor. It is not that we intend to sell products with ridiculous margins and overheads. What this means is that we will continue to build cost-no-bar systems with the best possible components thrown in.

We have seen some of the folks moving from the segment as mentioned in the first para, to the second category of customers, before buying from us

This has been a very very intresting experience...

Hi Siva, its sad that the audiophile community is so small in india .

do keep us posted on the new avataar. although we are not growing very fast, the audiophile commnity seems to be larger and more aware than we were a couple of years back so there is a lot of hope for the future
