Congratulations;
Well done - India.

However, I definately felt that Pakistan Bowled much much better than us. I am happy we won, but towards the end, I was not so sure we would have made it.
I feel that India played much much better against England & Australia.

But at the end of the day what is important is that we won !!!

So Great !!

To me, the Most significant part of the win - which has hardly got its due - is that the Winning Indian Team, was a team of new faces, without the so called 'Masters'.

Hope the new guys get the breaks they deserve for future Indian cricket. Maybe Subhash Chandra will pick them up, and that will be the beginning of the end of the dominance of politics in Cricket ...

Ya...Pakistan has always been a terrific bowling side...what they have done in this match is "proved it once again"...infact they bowled much better than Australia in this series.

But the way Indians, who have always been an average bowling side, have bowled and fielded in this series is something which could be treasured as an example for the future tournaments. KUDOS TO THEM

To me,the best match was the one against S Africa-the way we strangled them! Absolute Halal! They were never in the match at any stage.

But the way Indians, who have always been an average bowling side, have bowled and fielded in this series is something which could be treasured as an example for the future tournaments

Quite agree!The amazing thing is that no Indian Player figures in the top few performers with either the bat or the ball-all the players chipped in with their bit-which is why this can truly be called a team victory.
Earlier, it often used to be like an Indian Wedding Party-one bridegroom & the rest baratis! And in the next match, the bridegroom used to turn in a "limp" performance like he had been totally exhausted after the first night!
