True. What I meant was it needed more space than our most of our cramped up Mumbai homes!

Hi !

Abhi had asked me how does Cyrus CDP compares to Marantz CD-5001 or NAD C521BEE. Today I did one-to-one comparision between Cyrus & Marantz (I don't have NAD any more).

It didn't take me long to reach a definite conclusion. Cyrus CD6s is much better than Marantz CD-5001 in all departments. But honestly it's not a fair comparision - they are both from very different price band. So only for those curious minds who want to know whether gives you that much more as much as it costs - the answer is a decided - YES ! Now it depends on you whether you care for that extra, whether you can comfortably afford and whether you are crazy enough to actually make that expenditure (I have already proved my insanity).

I did hear them at Lakozy the cdp and the 8vs....

mixed feelings really.....I must confess I did not have my reference cd's and the setup was less than optimal so I intend to go back with my music and then comment. I will nevertheless audition them with the Vandersteens. Nice speakers they are, must say.
