Guys posts are welcomed too..no need to name dealers as we are from diffrent cities and not many from mumbai know the dealers here in bangalore and vica versa but a general insight as to how things have to improve..In case you vote for 1st choice you have to name the dealer or name him if it's the last choice ..... so there's a catch here..... name if you come across any lady hifi dealer who's young and beautiful......i will vote later [Beitrag von SUB_BOSS am 23. Hi Sub, Have assembled my collection from an assortment of dealers, so would be difficult to name all of them here. But I have generally always bought from Type 1 as listed above. The rest, I prefer to give a wide berth. |

Hmmmm..not many have voted..but look at the results 3 members gave it to option 3 and one to option 2.So this is the fate of dealers in India. Of course if you visit a dealer your intention is to buy and his intention to entertain your visit is to sell..but in between some professionalism is expected and not trying to play around and conclude that the customer is a fool and dealer overconfidetly thinks that the customer cannot discover his huge pinch up's of margin in between.Yes every dealer has to make money out of the sale...but not trying to shave him up.. displaying pseudo professionalism and trying to corner customers to buy stuff will actually ruin their business..what all dealers have to understand is customer ready to buy Hifi would have contacts with other dealers too as he would've discussed purchase with them too and he would done substantial research before auditioning..and would never ever take the BS price...Abhi actually got the least quote for the same amp..where I got the quote which was 6 k more..beleive me it was the same dealer and same amp too...but diffrent BS stories behind it.... So guys beware..before you listen to any component listen to dealer...if he is farting too much then as bigears quoted ...give em a wide berth.....remember any dealer worth his salt can get you what you ask for...coz india is not too forward in imports of HIFI so it's normally one or two channels from where all the stuff flows into diffrent so called showrooms( this again was another honest dealer's confession). Don't think every dealer will have his own import network or channels or smuggling gangs wearing rado watches and 400 gm braclets ,slazzy blazer with pan stained teeth covered with gold caps .....of course few real serious ones have their own channels...but not atleast the stuff we discuss here every day. cheers........ A good initiative SUB It would have been more interesting if it would have been open a little more time and get the realistic dealers for all our benifit. Cheers again and good luck for more positive initiatives. |
