hi

each one of us has a favourite,two or more with respect to reference recordings that we would carry to an audio audition

What would be the first two you would pick up for a serious system evaluation session ?

Mine would be
1) Diana Krall live in paris
2) The Manger CD (really begining to love this one)

This will generally cover most things for me. I could go through an audition with these cd's and know where I stand and what I have been listening to etc.

Pressings are very very important, will get into that on a seperate thread.

That's two of mine - though haven't really "mugged up" the Manger as yet.

I even like Diana Krall's "Love Songs" (Track 1 & 2) and Neil Diamond's "GOLD"!
