Aerosmith would be rocking Bangalore on 2nd June 2007 at Palace Grounds..

It was the most pathetic concert by an international artist that I ever attended. We didn't even wait for it to end before ditching the scene...

My Concert Report

To answer doc's question...Bangalore has all the luck because its got the audience for such music and it has a more friendly entertainment tax structure...

I remember when Deep Purple performed in Delhi, way back in '94 (I think) only 5000 or so attended...for Iron Maiden a couple of months ago...there were over 30000 people in Bangalore...

Leaving aside all the other factors, you're absolutely right about the audience response (not only by the numbers) in Bangalore...I've seen it over the years now...even our bands like Parikrama are appreciated very well. I got to add, this holds good not only for Rockers, but also Classical, Jazz, Theatre, Campus acts as well.

I've not seen any concert in any other city other than Bangalore, so cant comment on that, but I'm told its not the same..
