Please save my ears! Construction activity is being conducted at my office and it's driving me nuts. Can anyone suggest some earmuffs or earplugs. I want something comfortable that can be worn for around 3 hours. It should sufficiently block out the sound and be easy to use.

Tell me which brands would be good and where I can get these in Bombay; preferably Bandra or Andheri.

3M makes fantastic ear plugs. You can get them in any sports shop (they're also used while swimming).
They cost just 30 or 40 bucks.

They're so good that i take them whenever i go for any rock shows (where they crank up the volume like mad).

Thanks, I'll get the 3M ones tomorrow. I hope that they're durable. Are they for one time use or are they reusable like earphones?

Sorry Manek, please put this post where it belongs.

They're re-usable. Just squeeze them and stuff it into the ears.

They work like graphic equalizers at rock shows!

I can't find the 3M branded ones in Bombay so far. Tried 3 sports shops in Bandra and got nothing. I found some orange soft squeeze foam type with strings attached but they were unbranded.

If anybody knows where I can get 3M earplugs tell me or alternatively suggest another good brand.

I took the unbranded stuff. Unfortunately, I find it real hard to get them in my ears. By the time, I get them in, the world will have turned quiet again. And the damage already done
