I suggest ONKYO 502 for 31.5K as it's a good buy and SONODYNE priced between 18 and 19K should also meet you requirement, but the Sonodyne speakers are too pricey for their flat performace, subs and surround are good but the floor ones just fart too loud.It is of paramount in this context that you wisely choose the speakers and i feel the whole ONKYO package is decent.You might as well as try the little ones from JBL.Spend wisely and HAPPY NEW YEAR. |

you can as well as try the SONY STRDE 597..good value for money at 18k or the sonodyne as well.Never go by the output of an AV receiver ,,,,go by the features. |

Hi, Could you tell me which speakers go best for the front with Sony STR-DE597. I am planning on only the front speakers( a good set of floor standers or bookshelves) first and then add the others slowly over time. |

if you want only floor standers then you can go in for SSK90ED which retalis between 17.5 to 19k(depending on the discount) |
