Help neded for Onkyo Challenger

Hi,
This is my First posting in this forum. I am from Kolkata. I wanted to know the correct price for Onkyo HTS - 570. Here in Kolkata a Dealer (Promises)is offering the set at a discount of 34% and they are charging Rs. 29700/- ,Claiming that the actual price for the product is
Rs. 45000/-. Is it so?I always thought that It is listed somewhere between Rs.30000 - 35000. One more thing are the prices for Onkyo products different in all the Metros.

CAN ANYBODY SUGGEST TO ME WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR THE NEWLY LAUNCHED HTS - 580.

hey bapa.....

the onkyo ht570 is available in bangalore for 28k and 25k in excahnge for ur old music system or a amp.......actually 570 were imported in huge bulks to give along with the Hyundai santro cars in the end of last year......but a huge lot is still remaiming here so they are taking it out a lower price in india.....this same thing costs around 7-8k in the int us when converted to indian rupees.....the price was 45k when it was introduces long time back.....if u are planning to purchase do a lot of bargain as they are phasing out this model.......the pricing shud be the same in all metroes as onkyo is officially in india and the taxation is same thru india....so stress on this point when u buy thru them.....as far as i have heard fro onkyo here that the prices are the same thru out india.....

no i donot have any idea bout the new 580
