Seth Walker concert

Hi All,
last evening I had the pleasure of attending a music concert by Seth Walker. This concert was part of the Eastern Music Festival (EMF) Fringe Series. The EMF is all Western classical music & the festival runs from last week of June to end of July but they also have a Fringe Series where they bring other Jazz, Blues, Folk artists & groups & have concerts in different venues in the city. So, the Seth Walker concert was one such concert.
This fellow plays the Blues & reminds me a little of Keb Mo's style of singing. Very accomplished guitar player & during the concert he played both the acoustic & a Gibson electric guitar to very good effect. Plenty of superbly played guitar solos. In his band he also had a bass guitarist who not played the 4-string bass but also the stand-up double-bass! I thought that this was unusual but the effect was really very good. The drummer, Edwin Hutchinson, was a really cool dude & played the drums with acoomplished ease. Plus, it was very amusing to watch him groove to the beat while playing the drums - he was certainly having a lot of fun entertaining us.
