Hey guys,

the best movie i ever saw is DAGON! Wonderful special-effects, action and brilliant artists made this film to a highlight of the (film-)history!

I cannot understand, why nobody mentioned it yet!

Best regards

DAGON

Hi!

In my eyes, Dagon is one of the worst films ever.

Maybe User "Dagon" got the wrong topic?
He should use "Worst film? (ever)

@Awush!

I think Mulholland Drive ain't good, just confusing (or didn't Mr Lynch know, that he did? Two films in one film with gnomes running through the picture and so on...)

My favourite films is Apocalypse Now Redux.

Hey!

Apocalypse Now is a really good film!

I prefer Redux, cause I think, it is more intense than the old version.

Hi,

Frank: Thanks, I would have said the same ...

To add one more thing , I think, that Redux is just a bit more complete than the old version (And has some more scenes showing the madness of the people involved (the surf-board scene e.g.)).

Awush: Please don't misunderstand me, Apocalypse Now is one of the best film, too, bit I think, Redux is (just a bit) better.
(If there wouldn't be Redux, Apocalypse Now would be best film, too, but in that case, films like Great Escape or Sand Pebbles would be very close ...)

Yeah!
I think redux is really better, but the old version is very good, too!

Another really good film is "sand pebbles".

There are so many great films how can you name just one?

Say: "Patch Adams" "Schindler's List" "Love Story" "Jurrasic Park" "Benhur" "Bridge Over River Kwai" "Gandhi" on and on and on

Have you seen "Patch Adams" starring Robin Williams & Director Tom Shadyac based on a true story? And have you seen "Munna Bhai MBBS" - the alleged "original inspiration of its director". I must say that its a good Indian adaptation of Patch Adams - the makers of the movie should have atleast acknowledged the original work. Tom Shadyac picked up just one opening scene from "A Flea Over Cuckoos Nest" and yet acknowledged in his interview in the collecotr's edition of "Patch Adams". I hope the director of Munna Bhai MBBS reads this.

Why don't we review some good new movies here?

Ben Hur is really good so was the Ten Commandments also starring Charlton heston, Omar Mukhtar and When Harry Met Sally, Forget Paris, and each from a different point of view!

Alfred Hitchcock had some absolute thrillers
To Catch thief, 39 Steps, The Lady disappears et al

but my most watched film series is the LOTR, LORD Of The Rings Trilogy..Loved the Book and found the Movie AWESOME ..perhaps my most spun set of DVDs yet
Matrix had promise but part 2 & # trashed it..

I would also like to bring the film "24". Certainly, it is more a series and less a film, but is has so many changes in the story what it makes totally exciting.

And seeing it on DVD, it is like a film.

Round about 20 hours of action and excitement.
