Hi Guys !

I was wondering where Mr. Ex-Dynaudio was ?
No news from Mr. Junia Suresh Alva - 'Dare Devil' 'jsa_ind' etc.

Is any one in touch with him ?

I miss him.

No one gets into any more fights / arguments etc. I actually liked to read all the things he had to say.
Specially about the 'prices' 'dealer margins' and all that 'gossip'

yeah. i miss 'bob ludwig' too. wonder where he went off too... or maybe he's right here in his next incarnation!

no where else to go is there ? Actually Hifivision was an option to consider, but no recording engineers were allowed there. sad !!!

Mr Junia and Daredevil are the same person? Really?? No, that's really hard to believe.

Junia was here in India for the last few months but would have left for US by now..(thats what he told me a couple of days back).....Regarding DD....he he...he could be back whenever he has another hot topic in mind...and then 90% of the forum will be sitting in the "Offtopic" section...

Oh ! He was here; I sent him mail to wish for Christmas & new year, but he never sent a reply. I wonder why ?
Did he get his set up back to India ? Dynaudio Evidence - Master + Plinus + Siltech + dcS ? He was saying that he would shift it back to Bangalore. Would like to hear it.

I would like to thank Junia, wherever he is, for giving me the opportunity to audition his Grado RS-1, Sennheiser HD 600, and Etymotic headphones. He also brought his Nad CD player, Plinius stereo amp, and Dynaudio Audience 52 over to my place and gave me the chance to compare them to my Pulz.

It was then that I put out a post comparing Pulz and Dynaudio + Plinius and almost got lynched

by a Dubai-based forum member, Big Ears

I don't regret that post, but I certainly am more careful now

I sometimes wish that professional reviewers would be like that: compare stuff based on what you hear, irrespective of the price. Not be awed just because something is very expensive and revered by all 'know-alls'. Your hearing sense may not be as refined as someone else's, but there is certainly no substitute for critical listening in audio.
