Interestingly, I just happen to read that there is a psychic fair on at world trade center.

I actually use this product - it was provided free to me when I purchased some V-D cables. I would not have spent my own money to buy this tweak so just as well it was provided as a "thank you" from V-D.
The effects of the silver treatment are subtle/very subtle - there's an additional smoothness to the music, a sparkle at the top end.
This treatment is an icing on the cake. The more important treatment, I found, is to regularly clean one's RCA connectors, AC plug connectors, speaker spade connectors with Caig ProGold so as to remove any oxidation (not a conductor).
Once that is done, this silver treatment not only creates a shield to prolong the Caig ProGold treatment & also provides some enhancement contact. Silver oxide, in contrast, is a conductor.
One has reapply the treatment every 6 months. Usually not an issue as one has to clean one's connectors every 6 months anyway.
So, I would say that this product is less voodoo than the Machina Dynamics products.
But I definitely agree that if a user has other bigger fish to fry in his/her system wasting money on silver contact compound won't get him/her anywhere closer to sonic nirvana.
