Hello,

I'm on my way to my local pub, so here's my question:

What beer to you prefer?

I like guiness very much (and I'm gone a drink some now )

Absolutly my opinion. Like every American beer...

Guiness is great, and so Kilkenny, Bitburger (I think, i've been baptised with that stuff ), Weißbier, Beck's (Gold), Flensburger Pilsener and Warsteiner.

Another great beer is the original Budwiser ( not the American One )! Miller is a beer without any taste.

Hey!

Miller is a beer without any taste.

That's true

By the way: another good beer is "pilsner urquell".

Becks (green) is good too, I have not drunk gold yet. Is it worth a try??

In my opinion, it is just "in" to drink Beck's. There are much better beer which are cheaper (Astra , Holsten Pilsener, Wolters Pilsener, Dithmarscher, Lüneburger Pils, Moravia....)

It's absolutely worth a try! It's not as bitter as the green Beck's, rather a beer for girls

But I think, it tastes great!

Hey!

It's not as bitter as the green Beck's, rather a beer for girls

So I might get more bottles so my wife can try it, too

I haven't tasted so many german beers yet (mostly wheat when I was in bavaria about two years ago).

By the way, could one of the moderators tell mister sledgehammer to control his language?
I don't think things like

don't belong into a forum?

@fatzke and wraethtu: this is an english forum. why are you posting in german? i can neither answer to your german posting nor to this translation:
Here is partial genuine Bierbanausen!! Not only music is to enjoys da!Amerik. Beers are mostly suited eh nothing (of because of Miller gut).Die beers are by the Oettingern those among other things names to be sold are nearly still bad who a good beer want, are with Pilsner Urquell directly from Plzen Tschechien, with distance at the best one served. (if it around Pils going t) camp beer is not so my Ding.Der remainder here already not. MfG Fatzke

At the leibsten Ur-Krostizer. One can take but to not drink what calls itself in Dortmund so all "beer" here, unfortunately at best for sticking together paper.

@ Sledgehammer:I dont know if this forum is connected with Hifi-Forum in English, but i posted from the german Hifi-Forum.This was the first Thread here i had seen in english. And my english is not so well,so i posted in german. What i wrote was:I dont like the amerikan beers, they can not be compared with german or tschech beer. And you have to make a difference between Pils (original beer after the pils method, started in Plzen tschechei) or Lager beer (Lager method)or for ex. dark beer, wheet beer etc.But no matter, taste Pilsner Urquell, you will be pleased.

Because you are using the forum via hifi-forum.de (you can use hifi-forum.net, too) and your settings are "display german and english forums" and "forum-language: german".

Sometimes I like Guiness very much.
But mostly I drink Pilsner beer, like Krombacher,
Radeberger, Wernesgrüner, sometimes Alt-beer.
Weizen I do not like.

sorry budweiser is not a good beer,
the czech version the same thing...

a beer have to be "würzig" (spicy) and "süffig"
(good to drink) I have no good translation.
