hi ppl,

i auditioned yamaha NS-8390 speakers & RX-V459 amp today. liked them. Wat you ppl think of them. kindly enlighten the poor soul :). Also if anybody knows the price of speaker and amp and can share with me that will be great.

You can probably do much better in the speakers department. As suggested before you have choices like Wharfedale Diamond, Mordaunt-Short Avant, Polk Audio Monitor, Jamo S400 series, etc. to choose from. You should audition the combinations and see which sounds best to you as opinions are quite subjective.
