Building a only music sys under 30K

In your budget it may be worthwhile considering the following combination:

1. Sonodyne Integrated Amplifier - about 13 K
2. Sonodyne Sonus Floorstanding speakers - about 11 K
3. Teac CD Player CD-1160D - about 6 K

Remember the first fundamental is to decide your budget and stick to it.

Hi Deepak,
I wouldn't recommend the Sonodyne Sonus 1601 Speakers (the ones that cost 11k).

Sonodyne has a vfm package that includes a Stereo amp, 1 pair of Genie speakers, and a sub. This would be well within your budget with a reasonable amount of cash left to spend on a CD Player and cables.

Remember the first fundamental is to decide your budget and stick to it.

And the second is to trust your ears only.

Is it better to go for branded pre-built systems or combine stuff.

If you have enough patience to choose the right components for your requirements and are not too hassled about setting up the system, go for a component based system. If you think managing different components would be a problem for you, go for a combo system. Each option has its own set of compromises.

I was busy doing some legwork around the city for speakers. Ive not been able to locate the address of SoundNVision. On their website they only seem to have the Pune address.

Im living in Hyderabad.
