suggestion on Floor standing speakers

I have heard B&W DM602 S3 (not a floorstanding but bookshelf) combined with NAD C320BEE and NAD C521i and it sounded fabulous. You can also try PSB Image 4T or 5T (floorstanding) with NAD. They are made by the same company (Lenbrook...) and they should match very well. All these should come in your budget. Actually I am thinking of buying similar things like that. Manek may have some suggestions. I think he uses Cadence speakers. Unfortunately I never heard them, so can't comment on that.

For the CD player, TEAC may not be considered something that great. Although, I am not sure of the price, but NAD C521BEE CD player is a good one in the lower range.

I have recently gone through similar dilemma. It may help you to read the topic "Graduating to NAD & don;t know what ...?" and also follow the whole thread.

I finally choose NAD with KEF Coda 90 and Teac CDP (which I know is just average but in past 2 of my Sony CDPs have bitten the dust - literally, so this time I decided to go for a "disposable" CDP paying due respect to the Indian dust)

floorstanders for 25k to my mind you mave just two options of wharfedale or mission. If you want to get used stuff then your choices expand dramatically. Maybe boston acoustic 2 way CR series floorstander.
