CDP around 50K any recommendations?

it would be ideal for you to pair jolida's but give the arcam rage a listen if you can. I like the cd73 a lot for its price of 36k.

Looks like there aint much option in 50K region. Either you have to go down to 35k or go up above 75k

jolidas are supposed to be good, though not sure of their price here in india...anyone knows the price/outlet for this

Even Advanced Acoustic has a nice hibrid CDP....not sure of the price though...but worth a check...

Yeah...that's where I briefly heard it (while picking up my TT) along with the AA MAP 407 integrated (if my memory serves me right) and Triangle Antales...lush sound, slightly warm and a wide soundstage...nice setup...I guess the warmth to the sound was added by the tubes...

Mahendra Dave (partner - Cadence ) deals in Joilida products. I got my Jolida Hybrid from him only. He has promised me a home audition for Jolida 100A when he receives next shipment.

Price will be around 50K~60K! In US Jolida 100A is selling around $900.

Sir, we need Rs. 75/- K suggestions, not 7.5K US $ recommendations. The Wadia 581 has a list of 8 K US $'s +++ if I am not wrong.

Now im tempted to respond to that.

1. CYRUS CD6S - Rs 65k
2. CYRUS CD8X - Rs 100k

3. CYRUS CD XT - Rs 80K (Transport)
4. CYRUS DAC X - Rs 110k (Dac)

IMO ofcourse both the cd6s and 8x are one of the best cd players in their class.
All members will be more than welcome to hear/evaluate/compare them at my upcoming showroom in september.

I can testify CD6s which I have used for last 6 months now.

I know the problem you are facing because I have been through this. IMHO I found most CDP from Rs.35k (Marantz) to 125k Primare to be severely lacking I many areas, it was like spending less and living with the limitations better than spending more !!

If you ask me to choose and some one else is paying Primare will be one that I;ll opt for.

Would like to try out the new Cyrus solutions, CD6 with PSXR was pretty nice, but again with PSXR combination they are above the 75k mark.

Any one listened to the new Cambridge CDP (CD 850 or something) , the one that makes use of Anagram software up conversion algorithm ?
