Pioneer CT 339 Trafo defekt

Also, wenn der Trafo abgeraucht ist, solltest du erst beschreiben,warum? Evtl. kann man danach beurteilen, ob nicht noch mehr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde.

Auch wäre hilfreich zu erfahren, was du schon untersucht hast. Da Trafos nicht so ohne Weiteres abrauchen, könnte es ja auch etwas anderes sein.

Klaus is right, there should be a reason and most likely the transformer is NOT defective.
At least you should let someone with a Digital Multi Meter test it and see if it's really dead.

The Pioneer partno. is RTT1137 and is is PROBABLY available from ASWO, Germany even if they say stock-level is zero.
The price is horrible!!! Just under 100 Euro, net-price. What ever a shop will charge you for this part I can't even imagine!

der Trafo ist nicht wirklich - Abgeraucht -, nur son Sprichwort.
Was passiert ist weis ich leider nicht!!
Alle Sicherungen sind heile.ich habe mit einem Phasenprüfer die
Spannung an der Primärenseite gemessen dort scheint alles in Ordnung zu sein
(jedenfalls Spannung) an der Sekundären war nichts.

Ich weiss das ein Phasenprüfer nicht das mass aller dinge ist..... aber die Aussage reichte mir fürs erste.

The RTT1137 transformer has an INTERNAL primary fuse that may be defective. It's a thermal fuse designed to protect the transformer from overheating. WHY they would want to put a thermal fuse inside a transformer in a cassette-player is beyond me. Absolutely crazy! A power-amplifier output stage may be defective and overheat a transformer but a cassette-player...!!
Anyway, the primary connections are WHITE wire at point-1, RED wire at point-2 and GREY wire at point-3.
WHITE is one side of 220V-AC and RED is other side of 220V-AC (GREY is 240V-AC)
The WHITE wire goes directly to the thermal fuse input and the output of the fuse MAY be returned to an outside pin of the transformer OR it may be connected to the transformer-wire internally. In both cases it may be possible to by-pass the fuse. It's easy if the fuse is connected between 2 transformer-pins; just move the white wire to the fuse-output. If the fuse is internally connected to the transformer-wire you may have to use a bit of brute force to get at the connection. Maybe even to break a piece of the transformer plastic off to remove the fuse.
Remember, IF you decide to use this kind of fix the responsibility is yours. The transformer will no longer be protected by a fuse except if YOU put one in the primary circuit which is a good idea.
