For Sale : ESP The Essence Reference Power cord

I had bought 3 of these power cords for my system. But only two are being used currently. I would like to sell of the third cable. It is a 2 meter long power cord, terminated with US type plugs. These are one of the very few power cords I have come across which does not come with a preference of equipment to be used with. They just do the right things that a power cord should do, i.e deliver seemingly unlimited power and keep the noise floor levels extremely low. I use one on my source and one on my power amp, at both places doing the same/similar things.

Things that standout in this power cord in terms of sonic signature includes the following :

1. This has one of the most articulate bass I have heard from any power cord.

2. Timing and Rhythm of the music is top class. Suddenly I see myself foot tapping with every kind of music which was not the case before. The system is very fluent now.

3. There is certain level of clarity and articulation in the upper mids and lower treble area which makes bells and whistles sound very real and life like. Interestingly I never knew prior to using this cord that my system has a slight diffused character in this frequency range. Triangles and Bells now have that real metallic clang and decay in them which was previously soft and tad diffused.

Apart from these they do not change much of the existing behaviour of the system. This power cord should not be used as a tone control at all, one would be disappointed IMO.
It should be used only if you are already happy with your system's tonality and want to just enhance it in the same direction.

The new price of this cord is $999. I will sell it for $325.
