Dear all. My above mentioned amplifier has past its best days and it looks as if it cannot be repaired anymore. Now because I completely lost track of what is good and what one should avoid, I am hoping for some guidance from you. All coomponents are more or less of the same age, only the speakers, Mission M73, are a bit younger. The amp needs to offer the possibility to connect a Technics phono turntable, Sony tapedeck, Philips CD player and a Technics tuner. And yes, I would prefer and amp to which I can also connect a TV/DVD without it sounding like rubbish. Its mainly pop music I listen to, but I would never buy an amp that mainly supports that, because its more or less background. A good Miles Davis or a classic tone is what I want to be supported best. The budget I have ends around 500 €. Thanks for any suggestion. |
