How far Dynaudio Air Studio Monitor speakers comparable to ProacResponse speakers?

Ive heard about the Dynaudio Air Studio Monitor series and how about the preference regarding the proacs response series. Proac is expensive when compared it with the Dynes. whats ur opinion

The Dynaudio Air & Proac Response are speakers from very very different backgrounds.

One was made for Studio & Broadcast use [Dynaudio Air] & the other was made for Audiophile - Home use [Proac]

One is Active [Powered] - Dynaudio Air
The other is Passive [needs a power amplifier] - Proac

I have had the chance to hear both [lucky I guess], but both were under very very different circumstances & hence they cannot be compared. It would not be fair to compare them. I am sorry !!

I can describe my experiance with both if any forum member is interested to know, please PM me. I will reply back.

like was said, 2 diffreent functions and voicings. inspite of some believing otherwise, only the home use series of both should be reviwed as the acoustics are different from studios- nearfield,damping, active.......

luckily for you both brands are representde in India and should be auditioned personally. imho however, the dyna ranges are much superior, but thats preferences for you...
