Is this system good the one which comes for Rs17,000+ purely asking its performance when taking price to performance ratio.

The GENIE is good & value for money, but the Acoustic Energy AEGO P2 is much superior and better sounding and it cost Rs 17125/- with three years warranty. The finish is superb and so is the WAF. Go to this link and check it out:http://www.acoustic-energy.co.uk/products/p5mk2/aegop5mk2.html

If you need more info then pls PM me. In the end do listen to both with your fav music and then let your ears be the best judge. Buy what you like. Period.

The genie systems are good for their price and well built out of cast aliminuim. They have 3 types, genie 1,2 & 3. They are all very nice. Very good for HT and double up well for music too. They look good to and have avariety of mounting options.

I am not too much of a fan of their sub.

Definately worth auditioning.

If you are based at Mumbai, consider Lithos or Norge bookshelves. They are affordably priced at around Rs 4000 each per satellite bookshelf. These speakers are bigger and should provide better sound than the Sonodyne Genies.

and yesterday i did see lyrita-
they do have a site- seems quite cool-
