Hi to all Guys, Seniors, Mentors + all and sundry,

got Musical fidelity A100 class A amp for audition yesterday-courtesy Absolute Phase. First impressions...pushes power like a 5 litre V8...Lil crank up and sound fills my tiny room.gotto warm them up today and will listen. Will use Norah Jones, eagles, Phil collins , Dire straits original US Cd's for a listen..

hope some useless politician conks an we get an off so I can go home an listen.....

guys won't that amount of heat kill the components within...

If that was the case Mohan then the amp would have fried long time back. Take all the CLASS A amps in the world, they would have never worked.

The key to the solution is to provide enough of ventilation and enough and more heatsinks.

My favourite pure class A amp being the Plinius SA-250 Mk $. Sadly they have stopped production of this wonderful beast. You must have heard the Plinius SA-102 Pure Class A 125w/ch pwr amp at my place?

In terms of heat it will melt the MF for breakfast.

Dont worry the designers of these amps have thought about everything.

never ever got a chance to listen to Plinius...ya designers would've thought about

........I can use it as a room heater.....

Will warm up (an cook dinner at the same time

)today before I do serious listening,,,,

Dear Sub Boss,

You would be able to soon. There is a whole bunch of Plnius equipment coming in. When...I guess by June-July.

It would be interesting to hear what the forum has to say about Plinius & Harberths combination.
