HT refers to the Home theatre and normally these speakers are used with subwoofers and you don't feel the bass deficiency.but when used for stereo you might notice the narrow range |

ok I got it But this speaker has 2 woofers so will it overcome the problem. How will be the vocals clarity because I love to hear slow romantic songs but I have observed at little high volumes the vocals starts to dominate so can u just explain me about it. |

hi srini, vocals will definately be good as the 6 1/2 inch drivers are inherently more biased towards mids.it is not like you have a made a wrong buy.yes it is a good choice. But never be in the assumption that the double woofers will give you good bass, i've heard that Cadence can kick the ass out of JBL northridge with twin 10inch woofers.Since you listen to romantic music which are dominated by vocals I feel this will serve your purpose. My understanding is HT speakers are quite peaky with vocals and Stereo speakers are wider in range.but pure stereo is a very expensive affair.you could've tried ONKYO SKF 202( not available but some dealers stock it). It has 8 inch LF drivers and a very good speaker system for stereo. [Beitrag von SUB_BOSS am 20. Jan 2005, 13:14 bearbeitet] |

there is really no necessity that you need a sub to boost bass, it has plenty of it. What i meant was you can never get too close to low frequencies and I'm reffering to below 40hz. You have chosen a very good amp.Congrats on your purchase and enjoy the beautiful combo NAD+ONKYO. P.S . where did you buy the amp and how much did u pay. |
