Can anyone suggest some good multichannel amps to check out with their approx. prices if possible.

I suggest ONKYO TX SR502 6.1 at 31k or may be the TX SR 602 at 38k |

Sony has AVRs introduced to Indian markedt 497(5.1 - 15k),597(6.1 - 17k) and 897(7.1 - 21k). Has anybody had a good long look at them?? Any comments on these. |

Yup i have had a look at them, but they don't perform the way YAMAHA or ONKYO does, thus i suggest put in litte more money for that exceptional performance.Never go by power ratings like 100 into 7 channels(which Sony normally does as in it's optimistic claims)there are more important features to look into.Never decide if a receiver is 150 into 7 channels is better than 75 into 7 channels .what really matters is how it performs.look for functions and other features like 96/24hz or 192/24 or 32hz, DTS,THX,etc.. |
