Some info on spk stands for you guys out there. 1.Speakers placed on the floor and placed in a corner produce an uncomfortable overpowering bass and depressed mids and highs. 2.Speakers placed against a wall and put on the floor exaggerate the bass and muffle mid and high range sounds. 3.Speakers moved away from the wall but still on the floor produce an unnatural bass and uneven mid and high range of sound. 4.Speakers allowed to rest in a free air environment raised from the floor and away from the wall produce an even and smooth bass and a superb sound quality 5.speaker stands are deliberately constructed to raise speakers off the floor and position them away from walls that distort and disrupt natural sound quality. Finally, a speaker stand has been invented to enable every music listener to hear music the way it was intended: uninterrupted, beautiful and clear. 6.The final placement of your speakers will be up to you and your ears. With our free air design, quality craftsmanship and premium materials, you know we will always be solidly in your corner. The above points 1-6 are only for bookshelf spks. |

Hi! Sorry dont remember the size of ur spks, can you give me the height of them. Remember the Tweeter must be at ear height when you sit down to listen to music. Rgds Prithvi |

I prefer my stands made of wood.....metal rings in a few places unless damped with sand...I still prefer wood anyday, especially maple wood or mdf manek. |

hi sub boss as a good starting point, stand with your arms outstretched shoulders outwards and place the stands where your fingertips are on either side. then experiment from there. further outward or inwards, toe-in and all... the sheer energy difference from your ears being on the same level with your speakers will be amazing! by the way this is an observation because most speakers i have noticed are placed arms length apart...
