Turntable in Bangalore !!!!

Hi All,

My current Technics 1700 SL is not working fine for 45 rpm. It is not able maintain the speed sometimes.

That's the reason I'm thinking of buying a new turntable. Looking for something available in Bangalore, India.

As far as I checked out previously, I know -

1. Prithvi can get Project. But not sure about typical cost of a Project Turntable.
2. My other choice is Rega P2/P3. But not sure whether I can get one in Bangalore.

In this regard looking for some inputs from you all.

besides, project, Rega, Nad.....
I read that Marantz has a kick ass entry level turntable.
Maybe Sharda motors(marantz distributor in India)could help you out.

You are right. I saw some of them when I was in Japan. However, in Bangalore I don't know who the right person to contact.

Try Audio Planet - 98450-19192 (Mr. Palani). They are the Marantz auth dealers here in Blr...associated with Sharada Motors...let us know what they say...

Even Denon has a decent entry-level turntable for around 10K I guess, you can check out with ProFx in Barton Center.

The best bang for buck turntable IMHO would be Pro-ject Debut series, you should get one around 15K or so I guess...

I just checked up with him.He only deals with Marantz.
Anyone can please confirm whether there is any dealer/importer of Technics TT in India?
