Philips Verstärker FA 920. gibt fast kein Ton

Hallo ich habe mir einen gebrauchten Philips Verstärker FA 920 gekauft.Angeschlossen ist ein Tuner FT 930 Ich habe wahlweise 4 OHM und auch 8 Lautsprecher angeschlossen aber auch bei Vollaufdrehen kommt nur ein ganz leiser Ton heraus.
Ist der FA 920 defekt oder waw kann das sein ?

Hi,

Your amplifier is divided into a PRE-amplifier and an OUTPUT-amplifier. They need to be connected directly when you are not using an external equalizer of effects-generator. This is done by connecting the PROCESSOR-OUT with the PROCESSOR-IN phono-plugs at the back of the amplifier. Usually U-BARS are used but if they are missing just use an ordinary PHONO-CABLE to make the connection.

...or it could be MUCH worse! Your amplifier has a SANYO input switching integrated circuit type LC7821. These IC's are known to become defective but it's hard to investigate without an oscilloscope, a service-manual and some knowledge about using both.
