Very solidly built(35 Lbs),valve based top loading CD player, used for less than 100 Hrs,non modified. This is a 110V version, bought in US so will need a step down transformer.
Was kept packed for 4 years. Recently opened and I'm playing it over weekends intermittently.
Planning to fund a dedicated DAC.
Auditions welcome and prefer a local sale in Bengaluru because of weight although I have the original double boxed packing.
Priced at 20K INR. Remote included.
Anyone looking for a decent dedicated 2 channel set up can not go wrong with this.I think I have spare set of tubes.
Thanks.
Satish.

Satish,

I am not familiar with this CD player.... However if it is top loading, it probably has a Philips CD Pro mechanism ?

If so, at your selling price, it may be worth while to hold on to it and use it as a CD Transport with your future DAC.

Ofcourse I am also assuming that it has a Digital (SPDIF) out ?

Anyways, sounds like a Great M/c at a Super Price ! All the best.

Its a really good transport.
you can read about it here... http://lampizator.eu/LAMPIZATOR/REFERENCES/MHZS/MHZS_CD66F.html
I would second Amp Nut and recommend you keep it in case you want a separate DAC..a dedicated transport of this quality will set you back by at least 50K

Arj and Amp Nut,
Thanks for the suggestions, yes it has digital outs so I can use it as tranport for my future DAC.I was in two minds whether to sell this monster CDP or use as transport. For now I will keep it.
Sorry folks.
Moderator-Can you take off/delete/archive this post?
Thanks,

Not necessary...you have put a final closure to the thread by saying you are using it so no need for further action.

Plus, its info someone else could use.

Thanks Arj for showing the right path.
Very soon I'm getting EE Minimax DAC,so hopefully the MHZS will compliment it and I will have a killer combo at reasonable price. Will keep you posted how it goes.
Thanks,
Satish.
