Hi all,

I am selling the following demo and personel Hifi equipment at the follwing rates (list prices in brackets):

CADENCE:

1 pair ARITA dynamic bookshelf speaker incl. stands: Rs. 46,000.- (Rs. 97,000.-) SOLD

1 pair AVITA hybrid electrostatic speaker: Rs. 86,000.- (Rs. 1,40,000.-) SOLD

1 pair DIVA dynamic floorstanding speaker: Rs. 30,000.- (Rs. 1,10,000.-) SOLD

1 pc. VA-1 HP integrated valve amplifier 35 watt: Rs. 50,000.- (Rs. 89,000.-) SOLD

SILTECH:

1 set Crystal Connect Micro Pure Silver Interconnect 0.75 m: Rs. 28,840.- (Rs. 38,456.-)
1 set MXT London Interconnect 1 m: Rs. 7,320.- (Rs. 11,329.-)SOLD

1 set MXT London Speakercables 2.5 m: Rs. 15,900.- (Rs. 22,753.-)
1 set MXT Paris Interconnect 0.75 m: Rs. 8,600.- (Rs. 13,233.-) these cables are terminated with WBT connectors
1 pc. MXT Berlin Power Cord 1.5 m: Rs. 1,500.- (Rs. 9,425.- ) this cable is terminated with standard Indian 3-pin and IEC plugs SOLD

1 pc. MXT Berlin Power Cord 2.0 m; Rs. 2,000.- (Rs. 11,329.-) this cable is terminated with standard Indian 3-pin and IEC plugs SOLD

EINSTEIN:

1 set Neutron Interconnect 1 m: Rs. 10,000.- (Rs. 28,000.-) these cables are handmade
1 set Neutron Interconnect 0.5 m: Rs. 5,000.- (Rs. 14,000.-) these cables are handmade SOLD

Please note: DIVA, VA-1HP and NEUTRON interconnects are personel sales. No bill will be issued. All other prices are excl. VAT only.
ARITA speakers have been broken in for approx. 100 hours and after that have been used occasionally for demo purpose only.
AVITA speakers have been in normal use from July 2006 till March 2008 only. After that I have used only ARISTA speakers.
MXT cables have been burnt in for approx. 100 hours. After that they have been used occasionally for demo purpose only.

All the equipment is in perfect working condition. Other condition also good. If you are interested in any of these items please contact me.

So, goolimangla, is this a moving back to Germany sale?? OR, are you planning to get new equipment for yourself hence selling off the old gear?? Thanks.

BMC to replace ?

Is Cadence 'shit' ? [sound wise] or their attitude 'shit' ?

I still think the VA-1 is a nice int tube amplifier;

p.s. Get a full Einstein front end to replace the outgoing gear...OTL Amplifiers too. Just some nice speaker to go with it.

Of course it's not 'shit'. And I am going on with hifi. Found that question only rather insensitive in the publicity of the internet. So no comment from my side here. VA-1 is a great tube amp. So I am offering it at a rather high price compared to the other gear. If I can't sell it for that price I'll love to keep it.
Blumenhofer speakers will be next and Einstein anyway. BMC once they are really ready with their amps too.

Completely agree. Unfortunately Cadence themselves doesnt look very enthusiastic about doing business

HiFi is just a very small side business for them.

HiFi is just a very small side business for them.

"Side business" is the key word here. Their arca demo was the first demonstration which thoroughly awed me with the magic hifidelity gear could reproduce so many years back. It was a “complete sound”. It was not about hi fidelity pyrotechnics, it was all about “music”! If one liked it, they could live with it forever.

If a brand looks at such “potential” as side business, it is bound to go all the way downhill. I feel sad.

Still these prices seems to be up through the roof. Just look at the Rega P3 24. It retails in Germany at 698 Euro
