Best Neo Tweeter?

What do you think is the lowest distortion 'neo' tweeter that allows close driver placement?

I know ScanSpeak make some in the 'Illuminator' range such as 602010 but they are really expensive. Any others good ones?

I currently think

Vifa NE25VTS looks like it can be really good, but I didn't test it yet.

I know BG NEO3, NEO8, NEO10,
all planar driver, like a ribbon

I mean small tweeters that can be placed close to other drivers. They always use neodymium magnets so many people call this kind neo(dymium) tweeter in the UK and USA.

Recently even big tweeters and woofers use neodymium magnets so I guess this is not a good way to describe the small tweeters.

I also found Dayton Audio ES25NdXP-4 and ScanSpeak D2004.

I love the B&G Neo3 tweeter, sadly it is not sold anymore since B&G was purchased by another company. They were going to make a coaxial planar soon but now I think the DIY market will never see it!

there are some "copies" on market,
Audiopur MAG20M looks very close to the B&G Neo8

Can you find a Neo3 PDR clone? I looked already but I don't see any.

but it should be possible to send parts-express and so on a email
(distributors should have a overview, what's available on market,
better than me

Hi Tenson!

Right now i am sitting on top of a pair of Vifa's NE250 VC/4 tweeters, waiting to get into action in my next project.
I hadn'd hat the opportunity to listen to them on a x-over.
For all i know they have very low distortion levels when crossed above 2kHz.

They might be worth a closer look!

Hi there!

I finished my Project with the Vifa NE Tweeters and have to say they sound quite pleasant. They produce nice details and sound rather crisp, even when you cut off the heavy spike around 13kHz. They are nicely "fast" but in my oppinion couold be a little more silky,
