I'm new here and hope this question isn't too basic for this forum. Here is my situation. I have some old KLH Baron speakers, that are ok, a 5 year old Yamaha 5 cd changer, but the receiver and rest is older than I care to say. I watch maybe one DVD a week, in a very small 10x10 room n a standard mitsubishi tv. A new one is in the cards in the next year or so. I mainly listen to CDs in the othe rroom 12x 20. Do I buy componets or surround in a box? I want to be able to have cds going in one room and decent tv sound in the other. As I look at products I am overwhelmed. Is a Surround in a box ok for running a CD system with conventional apeakers? Do I put that in the room without the tv? Suggestions are appreciated. Boise17 |
