hey guys
just got off the phone with my dad.
it seems the nad 320bee and the deftech prosub 100tl is being offered for around 22k rupees.
told my dad to contact big ears before making the purchase.
said he'll call back as soon as he has spoken to him.
PS: asked him to buy the van den hul d102 cables

my dad's buying them today.
my dad spoke to big ears and said that he'll be making the purchase today as he wanted to confirm with me first.
hey big ears, you're teh man

. well i settled for the 320bee and prosub100tl. also asked my dad to buy the van den hul interconnects and pick up a pair of biwirable speaker cables.
all this for around 23-24k was too good a deal to miss out on.

thanks you guys for helping me out.
will let you know soon after the purchase(going to the air show today so won't be at home till evenin')

Trust the system tickles your ears every time you turn it on!

I may be opening another can of worms, but I would invest in a good single-wire pair. Biwiring is at best, controversial, I personally havent found it to offer any clear advantage.

Bi-amping, maybe.

I agree with you big ears....sometimes you can hear do diff at all....so tread carefully on the bi-wiring front ben.

bi-amping is definately a plus but I have heeard systems sound more coherent with one am as well

try before you buy !

Vivanco subwoofer cable
Vivanco stands and connectors
and some speaker cables
all for 29k

can't wait for my parents to return.

P.S: hey Big ears. my parents insisted that i thank you again on behalf of them.

Does Dubai Audio still exist ? I bought my Arcam/Linn system from them years back.

Yes, and it has grown a bit!

They moved to Sh. Zayed Road a few years ago.

parents got all the stuff and paid no customs at all for the entire luggage!!

well you see,
the force is strong in my family.
my parents got 120kgs baggage without paying a single paise for excess baggage(max limit was 75) and absolutely no customs!!

btw the nad is titanium finish and boy is it gorgeous. got VDH bay c5 interconnects. will have to hook up the system tomorrow. can't wait.
i need some help in setting up the subwoofer.
however it will have to wait as tomorrow i have to go to NAL for my final year project work.
