In order to get any sound out of my speakers, I have to crank up the volume full blast. Any ideas as to what the problem might be?? Thanks in advance.........Sysfrog |

Thanks for your reply. This unit has been working for the past 10 years. I think I may have figured out the problem. It appears someone hit the "mute" button on the remote control for the NAD705. **note** there is no mute control on the NAD console itself. All appears to be working normally.......the simplest problems are the hardest ones to solve. Regards..........Sysfrog |

lucky it was simple..A Capacitor Conking off could also have been a culprit  |
