Bi-Amp confusion

you amp is 70WX2. that's it!
The 2 pairs of speaker binding posts were provided if you needed to bi-wire & not biamp.

If you connect 2 separate pairs of speakers to these 2 pairs of speaker binding posts you are very likely to get speaker interaction + speaker x-over interaction with the amplifier impedance. Depending on how robust your amp design is you might make the amp unstable & that could lead to some amp trouble or even a mishap. My advice would be not attach 2 separate speaker pairs to those speaker binding posts - they were meant for bi-wiring only.

Just FYI: if you do connect 2 separate speakers to these 2 pairs of binding posts you will still have 70W/ch but the load will be unequally shared between the 2 diff speakers depending upon the x-over design (which will profile the impedance & phase curves vs. freq).

Make sure the impedance does not drop below 4 ohms ... heard many folks complain about marantz amp on this front.
