Came across this brand called Micromega. Based in France. http://www.micromega-hifi.com/en/societe.htmlLooks like they are very well known for their source equipment in Europe. Any thoughts ? |

They were very very well known for their mid Fi level CDPs/Transports/DAC. may old audiophiles still retain their transports and DACs got a poor reputation for indifferent quality in this decade from around 2001 or so. especially their transport section had many problems of disk skipping etc word is that they are doing better now, but more in the high end space. |

Yup…hi-end space….I saw an ad of their 2k plus UK pounds cd player recently in hi fi news………  |
