Nad C350 integrated amp for sale

which power amp ? the 272 ?

The 272 is hardly an 'upgrade'..not from the C350 at least.

Am guessing square wave is either going for a Musical fidelity or probably Viren's tube??

I have heard htis amp on one other occasion but can't seem to reacall what the partnering equipment was.

Anyways, i guess we are digressing from the thread and we better continue our discussion offline or on the stereo forum.

For what it is worth, i thin kthat the C350 is a superb amp.
I had planned to go for this inlieu of the C320Bee.
But, as fate would have it there were hardly any pieces left and i had to settle for the BEE..

But the C350 is a really good amp and would be a superb buy for anyone looking out for a MArantz, roteldenon or a 320Bee..

Sorry for not replying sooner. I have not checked in for a couple of days.
I have not decided yet on the power amp. I already have a valve preamp, so an SS power amp is what I want. Sachi, I agree the 350 is a better amp than the 320 bee. A c272 is not much of an upgrade over this. I may check it out at home though. Some say it may give better bass control, more power reserves and a lower noise floor. I am keeping an open mind so will check out as many as I can. This is definitely not going to be my final amp, so may go for something which may serve me well for a couple of years when I can afford something really super

In what setup did you hear the C272 Manek ? Passive volume pot ? Speakers ?
Preamps are Nad’s Achilles heel. With the right pre, passive or active the c272 can sound pretty good.

BTW square...what are your other options ? I ask becuase I too am looking as you know but havent found the right bang for buck...it does get tricky with a tube pre at times....sensitivity and input impedance have to be right.

Vincent may not be a bad option I am thinking.

BTW I have also heard the luminous audio passive with arcam P80, quad 909 and aaron amps. Must say the passive did put a new spin to their performance. I also heard my tube amp with arcam, quad and nad....prefered the arcam but the arcam sensitivity is a bit low(800mv) compared to the 272(1.2V) so I am back to square one with the choice of power amp. The quad just did not gel.

Options for new in India as of now is only the Nad C272. Rotels are decent amps but I do not like their mid-range presentation.
Which Vincent audio amp are you talking about ? Do they have a power amp for reasonable $ ? I guess I may have to hunt for good used stuff too.
I wish I was in the US or something. Could have checked out a lot of stuff

heard the flying moles...much better than the nuforce and much cheaper....they would be pretty affordable. Audio analogue, arcam(if your tube amp matches), roksan(input impedance is a low 10K), parasound A21(direct coupled so must be used very carefully with tubes and overpriced) etc, etc, etc...

Square, see if you can find old Aragon power amp for your valve pre. Probabaly you can try your Pre & CDp in Jeeve's place. Impedanse matching is imp.
