Buying my first 42" plasma - need help!

Hi!

I will buy my first plasma next week but i have a limited budget of 1600 euro. Please help me find the best one in that pricerange.

Plasma: I want it to be 42", HDTV-ready with DVI (HDCP) and/or HDMI (HDCP), 2 RGB-scarts.

The "specs" for HDTV-ready is:

1. At least 720 horizontal lines and 16:9
2. Minimun 1 YPbPr och 1 DVI- or HDMI-connection with (HDCP).
3. 1280 x 720 @ 50 & 60 Hz (720p PAL and NTSC) and 1920 x 1080 @ 50 & 60 Hz (1080i PAL and NTSC).

I live in Sweden so the unit has to be available in Sweden and/or available via german shops such as

Technikdirekt.de,

Digitalo.de,

Hifi-fabrik.de or

Netonnet.de.

Hi ProCinema,

at first greetings to Sweden.
You know that your pricelimits are too low ?
I can only talk for plasmas prices and there is no way with 1600 Euro to buy one.

If you wish a nativ resolution of 1280 x 720 for real HD, then you must buy a 50" Plasma.

I think, it's better for you to look for a LCD in this resolutions you want to have.

I have come to the conclusion that a 32" LCD is out of the question because i need the extra 10"...

If you only have that much money spend, forget it. Wait at least half a year and try again. Sorry to say.

I went to NetOnNet today in Borås (Sweden) and i bought 2 lcd's, Andersson Y60 (32") for my livingroom and Andersson Y4/PS (27") for my bedroom.

A little more expansive but wow, the picture are so good...

Andersson Y60 (1366x768 (16:9) DVI, 1024x768 VGA),

Andersson Y4/PS (1280x720 (16:9) DVI, 1024x768 VGA).
