Hi this is the RA that I bought plus 2 extra kicks. What I need to know is should I use a certin volum for the kicks? if so does anybody know how much. I plan on putting the kicks and a 2 way rearfill right behind the front seats mounted from the roof of my car. I know this is dangerous but I will make a frame out of steel and weld it to the frame of the car. Thanks for any help.

i know what u mean. i would not put the kicks and a 2-way Rearfill into your selfbuild "rack". The Problem is not the safety but you want to have a nice sound i think. You dont really need a rearfill for good sound. I think it sounds better without a rearfill. The rearfill right behind the seats is too near at your ears so it will sound real bad. the problem with the kciks behind the seats is that you can here where the sound comes from. i think it would be better to build doorbaords for your doors where you can mount 2 speakers. if you really want a rearfill you should mount it behind the backseats or next to the backseats

I fully aggree with what ls4 said. It isn't only dangerous to mount the speakers at the roof, the result will be blurry sound.

If I were you, I would mount the woofer in the doors, the 10 cm speakers at the instrument panel ant the tweeters at the A-pillar. It will take some testing to find out where the sound is best but it will extremely improve staging.

The Kicks can play in the door volume. Kicks have no real volume refrence. So there are spezial Pats that silence the doors. If you use them for the doors you can connect the doorboard volume to the door and it will work!

OK, but it's kinda fun to write back in english. In case you think of the many mistakes we made, don't care i make the same mistakes in german

So if you are not willing to create them by yourself, there are some brands that offer cartype spezial dobos.

I think it's much easier to build doorboards than to mount the kicks to the roof.

but I'd say it would be better to give the kicks a separate volume to play, and as you build doorboards that's not really more effort..

5-7 liters should be good.

Wenn die Endstufe nen Tieffpass bietet, der sich bei 250Hz oder höher einstellen lässt, kannst du das machen.

Ansonsten musst die Frequenzen per Headunit oder DSP trennen.

Bandpass heisst das Stichwort.

sorry i don't want to read the manual at the moment. you should look for a funtcion named bandpass. ist a combination of lowpass an highpass. if the soundstream amplifier does not support bandpass u need a headunit that has got active crossovers build in. then it will be very easy
