Hi All. One of my friedns trying to decide on Monitor Audio (S6)over JBL (SV500). He would be playing them as Front Speaker with Yamaha RXV650. Any input on which variety would be better. Regards, Sourav |

MA S6 is one of the best bargains you can come across in floorstanders. Very detailed but clean high freq plus warm mid with the low end to extension that will be more than sufficient to keep you listening for hrs. The Yamaha or for that matter most of the low/mid AV amps cannot utilise the speakers fully. New model of Silver S series is realeased in UK. |
