Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew how I could connect my HIFI speakers to my PC? They the kind with no actual plug on the end of the wire, just some exposed wiring? Any help is appreciated...thanks.

well ,to connect speakers to a PC a speaker wire by itself is not enough as the Raw audio out does not have enough juice to drive speakers directly.

YOu need an amplifier to drive them.

If your hifi Already has a "Äux In" then connect the pc audio out to that and use ti Hifi to run the speakers.

Else you may need to invest in a cheap Amp for that..

hope that helps..

definitely.
you can use any Int Amp..better to buy used. fix your budget

Any Old NAD/Rotel should be good and you should get them cheap..

BTW which speakers are you planning to drive ? IF they are a speakers from a Sony/Panasonic type of setup any sub $100 amp should be good enough.
