do you use the internal tv-tuner or an external one?

i just screened the manual and there seems to be no obvious way to delay the audio.

thankyou for the speedy response, Yes I use an external sat reciever through HDMI and a PS3 also through HDMI. As mentioned before the sound through the TV speakers is in sync but not the audio output at the back. I presume that naturally the picure processor takes a certain ammont of time to generate the picture and this delay is synchonised internally with the speaker amplifier but it seems the aux sound output is not coupled with the picture engine. I know some amplifiers can compensate for this. Even though I have an old high end proligic amp from Kenwood KA-V6000 it does not support a delay function. I really do not want to buy an new amp as it sounds realy good and is fully compatible with the rest of my audio system. I have seen a few settings on the hidden service menu but I am concerned changing these will affect the TV speakers.

hmm,

that would mean that the sound would be in sync again if you turn off picture quality enhancers.
maybe you could test that.

personally i have connected my sat-receiver via hdmi to the tv and via optical to my avr. so i can watch tv with and without the avr.

so maybe you could try hdmi to tv and rca or optical to your avr aswell.
