A sub-sharpness in the Service Menu for Pana PD50 ?

Hello,

Sorry, I do not speak German !!

I have to much artifacts/pixelitation with Aerial/Sat reception, I have tried almost everything but I think that if I could lower the shapness even more (in the service menu) , those artifacts will be less evident...do you know if this is possible in the service menu ??

Also, does anyone have explanation (in a service manual) for the code in service menu 2 ??

. Be careful changing settings in the service menu! It´s an absolutely definite ruling to note the original settings before adjusting.

Is´nt it possible that the artifacts emerge from a bad input-signal? You said that the artifacts attract attention when you view Aerial/Sat reception, but don´t when you look DVD´s? When you set the sharpness down, the whole picture is more smooth but a sharp pic is even better. When the artifacts are really disturbing and you still having guarantee, i would call a panasonic-technician to solve the problem.

But i don´t think that the TV is blame for the problem, imho it´s the Signal from the Sat-Receiver...

Yes, I get great picture wit my DVD but the problem is where in the service menu I can find a Sub-Sharpness option ? None of the option (in service menu 1) seems to be about sub-sharpness...
