you may not be able to connect via the NAD bus link as it is proprietary to NAD but 541i has analogue and a digital coax out. no problems there. |

Sorry but I should have been clearer, Quite happy with the sound, I am refering specifically to the MC bus link between the systems ITS ONLY A MINOR THING, but If any one knows if they are compatible it would be great regards Mike |

I would suggest stick to the analogue outputs on the nad. they sound the best. digtal out is also very good but does have a bit of brightness like all digital outs. |

amp would need an inbuilt DAC or you will have to convert the digital signal by connecting the cd player via a separate dac unit. Thats the only way you can use a digital coaxial/optical output on the cd player. if you have an av receiver then you could use the digital out also as receivers always have an inbuilt dac algorithm module. |
