Vö noch unbekannt, muss aber ja wohl in 2016 sein, sonst würde die 40th anniversary Edition eines 1976er Albums keinen Sinn machen.

Bah, ich krieg die Krise. Habe mir gerade letztes Jahr die "Deluxe Edition" gekauft, weil da die Originalfassung des Albums drauf ist. Jetzt muss ich die nächste Version kaufen, denn die Tales in Mehrkanal ist natürlich ein Muss

Wenn die Standalone Blu reichen würden dann ist das doch kein Drama. Beide zusammen sind dann halt auch eine Superdeluxe Edition

Yepp, eine blu-ray standalone wäre natürlich ok, aber da steht ja "perhaps" ......

Housed in a rigid two-piece box, nine albums are presented in sleeves that replicate the original release down to the last detail, including mini posters, and the iron-on that came with Chicago VIII. To ensure optimal sound quality, Rhino has remastered each album in both its original quadrophonic and stereo mix on each disc, and so that the quadrophonic mix will play on surround sound systems.

Formed in 1967 in the band's namesake city, Chicago is one of the longest-running and best-selling groups of all time. It's the first American band to ever chart albums in Billboard's Pop Top 40 in six consecutive decades, and is the highest charting American band in Billboard's Hot 200 All-Time Top Artists, earning the #9 spot. The group's extensive accomplishments include: a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards, 11 Number One singles, five consecutive Number One albums, and record sales in excess of 100,000,000, with 47 albums earning gold and platinum certification.

From its inception, through to the late 1970's, Chicago perfected the art of making melodic, jazz-tinged rock with a keen pop sensibility. Danke für den Hinweis w/ Chicago. Leider stellt sich hier wieder die Frage nach der Sinnhaftigkeit einer Komplettbox. Nach Chicago V wurde das musikalische Brett schon erheblich dünn. Warum eine Greatest Hits dabei sein muss, die zwangsläufig Doubletten enthält, weiss ich auch nicht. Veröffentlichung der Einzelplatten wäre besser gewesen. Von der I, Ii und V habe ich schon die Surround-Versionen, also ist es zumindest für mich nicht sehr interessant.

Steven Wilsons Yes Remixe gehen in die nächste Runde:

"Started in 2013 and finally completed in April this year (so that's 3 years in the making folks), my remix of the double album "Tales from Topographic Oceans" by Yes (official) will be released later this year. More information soon."

Trotz aller Kritik damals eines meiner Favoriten. Für mich ist es irgendwie Sommermusik, mal schauen ob Tales noch passend veröffentlicht wird. Thx

Irgendwo hab ich gelesen, dass die verschiedenen buchartigen Volumes, aus denen die Box besteht, in 2017 auch einzeln erscheinen sollen. Leider finde ich beim genaueren Hinsehen nur recht wenig wirklich Spannendes. Viele der frühen Singles wurden ja im Rahmen anderer Boxen schon veröffentlich, bzw. dem Remaster der 3CD-Ausgabe der "Pipers" beigepackt. Das umfangreiche Live-Material scheint mir vor allem für beinharte Fans und Alleshabenmüsser interessant, das dürfte bild- und tontechnisch nicht so prickelnd werden. Gut, der MCh-Mix der Atom Heart Mother könnte interessant sein ... aber sonst ?

Ich habe wenig Hoffnung, was den 5.1 Mix der Temple Of The Dog angeht!

Martin Nonstatic - Nebulae Live at the Planetarium


Leider konnte ich die Aufführung, obwohl ganz in der Nähe, damals im Februar nicht besuchen.

Ein sehr schönes Album für Freunde von Ambient und elektronischem Downtempo, und für Freunde der eher dezenten Surroundabmischung.

Nur als Download im Format Dolby Digital und Dolby Digital Plus erhältlich.

Hat jemand Detailinformationen zu ...?

Es gibt mind. eine 5.1 Version. Auf der HP von Opeth könnten man für ca. 75 € inkl T-shirt bestellen, bei Nuclearblast ein "Holzköfferchen, bei JPC eine Ltd. Box und bei Amazon kann ich es grad nicht zu ordnen.

hat jemand das Album als digitalen Download vorbestellt und auch einen Link erhalten.
Ich habe die 5.1 Version bestellt, aber nie eine Reaktion erhalten. Auf Emails wird nicht geantwortet.

Bei YouTube klingt das nicht schlecht, wie eine etwas härtere Version von IQ.

Ich habs gekauft. Per Mail Link erhalten, gedownloaded und Yamaha Musiccast sagt "Fehler".
Schon Einiges versucht, aber es will einfach nicht.

Kann MusicCast denn überhaupt Multichannel übertragen?
