Die K5 Docking Station samt KHV ist wirklich was nettes wenn man FiiO X3 2nd Gen / X5 2nd Gen / X7 oder E17K sein eigen nennt, da die alle den 11 Pin Micro USB Port haben und deren DAC genutzt werden kann als direkte Schnittstelle. Auch wenn der FiiO X1 den 11 Pin Anschluss hat, kann er aber nicht als DAC oder Quelle wie die anderen genutzt werden, soweit ich das gelesen habe.

Ausgangsimpedanz vom K5 unter 1 Ohm, Gain mit 0, 6 oder 12 dB Einstellbar, 1500 mW @ 32 Ohm sind auch mehr als ausreichend und sehr großzügig gewählt.

Mit dem FiiO X5 2nd Gen und X7 kann auch der symmetrische Line-Out des K5 genutzt werden, die anderen unterstützten Geräte können den unsymmetrischen Line-Out benutzen (natürlich geht auch X5 2nd Gen und X7 damit). Der Line-Out Pegel hängt vom verwendeten Gerät ab.

Jetzt hat FiiO doch den X1 als unterstütztes Gerät für den K5 mit dazu gepackt. Interessant, denn der X1 geht normal nicht als USB DAC einzeln zu benutzen, aber scheinbar in Kombination mit dem K5 ist es möglich.

Heute kam der K5 an.

Mein Fiio X3 II liegt im Bad, angschlossen an einem Philips BT6600A.
Jetzt wird der X3 über den K5 geladen, und auch ein- und ausgeschaltet.
Auf niedrigster Lautstärke kann ich nun das ganze Viertel beschallen.

Am Wochenende ersetzt ein RIVA Turbo X den Philips.
