nee, also meine 5 besten Alben aller Zeiten nur aus einer Musikrichtung zu wählen, das wäre mir dann doch zu wenig. Da ist die Vielfalt zu gross für.
Und 5 Alben? Keine Chance, es gibt min. 100 die ich auf gleichem Niveau sehe. Und die gehen von Iggy Pop über Metallica, AC/DC, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, Parliament/Funkadelic, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Marsalis, John Coltrane, Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela, Tote Hosen, Clash, Dreigroschenoper, Comedian Harmonists usw. bis hin zu Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel oder sonst einer dieser klassischen Grössen.
Und dann zählst Du als deine Top5 CD's aller Zeiten nur Heavy Cd's auf. Mir geht es hier nicht drum, die Qualität der genannten Cd's abzustreiten (ist schliesslich Geschmackssache). Aber aus ca.300 Jahren Musikgeschichte nur Heavy Platten zu nennen, lässt schon Scheuklappen vermuten.

Donald Fagen - The Nightfly

It sounds like simple pop-music, but it's more complex than many jazz-recordings. This is a style I have always loved - you can just listen and enjoy the music. But if you really listen - you will really enjoy this great music!


Jimmy Giuffre 3 - 1961

Calm, pure, plain. A completely different view of Jazz - and digs deeper into the real thing than most.
