What Do You Recommend ?

Hi, we need some detailed information about your room (size) and your speakers. Without these information - generally spoken - I (as more Denon fan) can recommend an AVR 2809, the last units in stores should be on sale for about 750 EUR, maybe you can get one for 700. The 2809 will be succeeded by the 3310 which is about 1200-1300 EUR. The 2809 should have better stereo performance compared to its predecessor 2808, even it has all new decoders für HD sound and enough amplifying power for most common speakers in affordable pricing ranges.

But when you just have a cheap satellite/subwoofer system this amp would be too much. In Germany we say "shoot with a cannon at sparrows".

I own a 3808 for a couple of weeks now, connected to a Canton Ergo speaker system and the stereo performance is very good and satisfying. The best sound I ever had.
