Hallo,

Sorry for writing in English, I am new here and I am still bad at German (I can read though, especially with Google translate :))
I have a configuration of Sharp LC60LE652E + Kabel Deutschland + CI+ Module + Sky Sport packet. I cannot find Sky optional channels, these are Sky Sport 3-10 in my case.
I have searched a lot in Google for a solution. I tried manual search using channel frequencies (e.g. from

http://helpdesk.kdgforum.de/wiki/Sky-Optionskan%C3%A4le and other sources) when the broadcast was surely on (Champions League) - nothing showed up. I saw several time a recommendation to try data channels (e.g.

http://www.hifi-forum.de/viewthread-140-2370.html) but I cannot locate them on this TV: I cannot see a single list with TV, radio and data channels, only TV and radio separately, and there I cannot switch to channel number, say, 400.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Is this even possible in this configuration?
If not, it does not make sense for me to have Sky at all (28 EUR/month for 2 channels? no, thanks). But unfortunately I have a minimal contract length of 2 years. However, I have been promised by both Sky and KD that I would have access to Sky Sport HD 1-5 and Sky Sport 1-10 which is not true at the moment. Will I be able to cancel then?

Hi,

I have the smaller LC39LE652E and do not have any problems with the Sky Channels (Bundesliga and Sport), although I am using a dedicated Sky receiver instead of the one included in the Sharp.
However, all Sky channels did show up when I performed the automatic channel search during setup (although the channels are crypted since I do not use the CI+ module in my Sharp TV).
Do you have an additional (Sky) receiver which you could try? This way you could also determine if it's actually a problem with the TV or rather the cable supplier.

Thanks for your reply!

No, I don't have any receiver. If I had one, I would have surely tried it. I have connection via Kabel Deutschland, so I don't see how I can add a Sky receiver to this configuration.
This is why I don't know who I can complain about it. No one wants to be responsible and everyone supposes I have to stick to the contracts.
